COACHING
The purpose and responsibilities of the Coaching Committee (“Committee”) is to assist the Alberta Cheerleading Association (“ACA”) with researching and developing strategies and initiatives to strengthen the training, recruitment, retention, education, and promotion of coaches based on the ACA’s Strategic Plan.
FINANCE
The purpose of the Planning Committee (“Committee”) is to assist the Alberta Cheerleading Association (“ACA”) with exploring funding opportunities available to the ACA. The Committee will present recommendations to the Board for approval.
COMMUNICATION & SOCIAL MEDIA
The purpose of the Planning Committee (“Committee”) is to assist the Alberta Cheerleading Association (“ACA”) with social media content such as communication, branding, digital and interactive initiatives, and ensure that social media communications are presented favourably to the public and to its members.
HIGH PERFORMANCE
The purpose of the High-Performance Committee (“Committee”) is to fulfill the Alberta Cheerleading Association’s (“ACA”) high-performance goals and objectives to develop and implement systems and initiatives to strengthen athletes' training, recruitment, retention, education, and promotion.
PLANNING
The purpose of the Planning Committee (“Committee”) is to assist the Alberta Cheerleading Association (“ACA”) with the development, coordination, and execution of all ACA events. The goal is to ensure the successful implementation of the projects while adhering to timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.
SPORTSMANSHIP
The purpose of the Sportsmanship Committee is to assist the ACA in supporting and promoting good sportsmanship amongst all members of the cheer community in all areas of interaction and communication.
