Judge-in-training Program

The Judge-in-training (JIT) program will be open to athletes and coaches who are 17+ years old and have cheer experience. This program is more in-depth than the Introduction to Judging session as it provides a foundation for judging by preparing attendees to successfully certify and take on judging roles.

The program will include several components such as an in-class session, workbook and video activities.

How do I participate?

1. REGISTER

  • Register for the Judge-in-training Program - see the link at the top of the page. If there is no link or upcoming sessions, please contact us to advise us of your interest. 

2. UPDATE YOUR MEMBERSHIP OR BECOME A MEMBER

  • Membership with the ACA is required.

  • The timing of membership registration is dependent on when membership registration opens, which may occur before or during participation in the program.

  • If you have questions regarding membership type, etc., please contact us.

3. REVIEW PROGRAM DETAILS

  • Review all information provided to you by the ACA before the session and contact us to clarify any questions.
