Name: Lindsay Morrison

Board Position: 2023/2024 Secretary

Bio:  I started cheering as an athlete in Edmonton in 1998 and quickly fell in love with the sport. I continued cheering for six years with school cheer and competed one year on an open team as an adult. I coached High School cheer on and off throughout the years, then moved to Grande Prairie. After realizing there were no cheer programs in this area, I worked with Grande Prairie Gymnastics to start the Gymniks All-Stars program in 2009. After leaving cheer for a few years to have a family, I returned to Gymniks in 2017 as a coach and then as the Program Coordinator in 2019. I also am new to the role of cheer parent, as my daughter is on our Tiny team. 

I love how much I've watched our sport change and grow in our province over the years. I would love to have the chance to work with the ACA to continue building and growing cheerleading in Alberta and all that entails post-Covid-19.
