What are the steps to becoming a Level 2 Certified Scholastic Coach?

STEP 1: Prerequisites for Certification

1. Complete all requirements of Scholastic Cheer Coach Level 1.

2. Request your Scholastic Program Advisor to submit a Practical Field Experience Form (PFE). The form will confirm you have completed 100 hours of coaching at Level 1 within the previous year (last 365 days).

STEP 2: ACA Scholastic Cheer Coach Course

1. Register for the course.

2. Complete the online Rules and Regulations Exam covering Canadian Scholastic ICU Rules and Regulations and Cheer Canada Score Sheets.

3. Participate in 3 hours of virtual class time (e.g. 9:00 am to 12:00 pm) covering Level 2 in ACA’s Scholastic Cheer Coach Manual.

4. Complete the Practical Skills Assessment with an ACA Instructor.

STEP 3: Visit the ACA’s website

• Confirm that you have completed all additional requirements and courses.
