All current programs must be registered by January 15, 2023.
Who must register with the ACA and Cheer Canada?
All individuals (“Participants”) and programs engaged in the sport of cheerleading in Alberta (“Programs”), regardless of the type of cheer or position, must register as a member of the ACA and Cheer Canada. For example:
Recreational
Scholastic (Elementary, Junior High, High School)
Collegiate
All-star
Professional
This includes performance, game day, individual, duo and group cheer.
How does the ACA define a “cheerleading program”?
Any organization, school, or group with an organized cheerleading program or team in Alberta that instructs and trains athletes and coaches and participates in cheerleading activities and events in Alberta. These organizations have their own registered athletes.
What are the 2022 - 2023 Program registration fees?
Early registration is $50 per Program and ends November 30, 2022.
Regular registration is $75 per Program and begins December 1, 2022.
Fees must be paid online at the time of registration.
Participants will register and pay a fee specific to their membership type through a separate CheerReg platform.

Can Programs enter all Participant information themselves?
Yes, when organizations register with the ACA there is an option to pay for the bulk upload service. This option is $99 plus taxes and will allow programs to upload their participants into the system. However, It is preferred that programs have their participants create their own accounts and enter their information into the system.
